Dr Ted Hiscock MBChB, Cert. FPA, Lead Clinician and GP with Special Interest for North Birmingham PCT in Sexual Health Clinic
Ted has been a GP specialising in sexual health for over 30 years.
He came to Birmingham in 1966 from Somerset to study medicine at the University Medical School and stayed in Birmingham after completing his degree.
For 34 years he has combined part-time work in genito-urinary medicine from Whittall Street Clinic with group general practice in Erdington, Birmingham.
In 2004 he pioneered a new NHS sexual health clinic from his general practice premises, which has proved immensely successful.
He believes that everyone should have the choice of venue for medical care and in matters of sexual health, the opportunity to seek private and discreet consultations at times convenient for the client and in a convivial environment as offered at the BMI The Edgabston Hospital, Birmingham.
